High-sensitivity three-way loudspeakers designed by Andrew Jones. Sold as a pair, complete with stands, grilles and two dedicated power supplies.
With Troubadour, Andrew Jones and brothers Jamie and Bill Cerreta bring together three ambitions: high sensitivity, expressive tone and generous bass. The first Jones & Cerreta loudspeaker combines a concentric field-coil midrange and tweeter with two large bass drivers, housed in a distinctive walnut-veneered cabinet.
Concentric coherence meets field-coil drive
The tweeter sits at the centre of the midrange driver, allowing voices and their harmonics to radiate from a shared acoustic centre. This arrangement is designed to maintain precise imaging and a seamless musical presentation. Both drivers use field-coil motors, with their magnetic field generated by a dedicated electrical power supply.
Two 12-inch (30.5 cm) bass drivers, mounted at the front and rear of each loudspeaker, provide the foundation needed to convey the weight of instruments and rhythmic contrasts.
A natural partner for valve amplifiers
A stated sensitivity of 95 dB and nominal impedance of 6 ohms open up a range of amplifier choices, including valve amplifiers of modest power. The best match will depend on your room and preferred listening level.
Troubadour requires an external hi-fi amplifier. The supplied power units energise only the field-coil motors. Two rear-panel switches allow the midrange and treble levels to be adjusted independently.
Two linear power supplies included
Each loudspeaker has its own PS-1S27V-V1 power supply. Built around a toroidal transformer, it switches on when music is detected and enters standby after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity. Each unit comes with two four-pin XLR cables, measuring 1 and 3 metres, which can be used separately or joined for a total reach of 4 metres.
Our first encounter with Troubadour
At the Spiritland presentation, we were struck by the speakers’ lively character, the body they gave to voices and their ability to create a full, precisely focused soundstage. The bass provides a solid foundation while preserving the music’s momentum. It was an encounter that left us keen to listen further and explore different amplifier pairings.

Included equipment and availability

How is my order processed ?
Once we have received your order and your payment, we issue you an invoice that will be mailed to you with a reference number for your order. Once your order is ready : it will be dispatched to you with insurance and tracking number.
Which payment methos are available in the Online Shop ?
You can choose between Paypal, bank transfer or Credit Card. Please take in consideration that payment via bank transfer will slightly delay the processing of your order as we have to receive your funds on our bank account to confirm your order.
Why are there different estimated delays prior to sending for some of the products
One of the politics of Ana Mighty Sound is that every order is unique and made for a single customer. You will find next to each item an estimated delay prior to delivery. We will do our best to fulfill it before this delay (and most of the time we do).
Please keep in mind that we are a 100% human company working all over the Old World (Europe) and that we do commit to deliver you the best made / best quality product available, and to insure that : this can take some time.

Can I specify a courrier for my order ?
Yes you can ! Just drop us a line in the « additional remarks » of your mail order. This may add additional fees to your order. We can work with DHL, TNT, FedEX, UPS, French La Poste or Chronopost.
What if I have received the wrong item ?
In the very unlikely case this would happen just send us a photo of what you received and we will send you a courrier to fetch the item back. Once we have checked it out, we will send you the correct item.
My items are not up to specifications, what should I do ?
This is highly improbable as we use the most modern techniques to insure that our products are up to specs. In fact we even have a dedicated person checking that every single item is in perfect condition prior to shipping. Of course it can happen, but we doubt it seriously. In any case if you were bothered by something : just send us an email and we will sort it out with you.
