Product details
Phasemation MA-3000
Class A 300B triode monoblock power amplifiers
With the MA-3000, Phasemation carries forward key developments from its flagship MA-5000 monoblocks: a driver stage designed as a power amplifier in its own right, transformer coupling, and careful attention to vibration and magnetic interference.
At Ana Mighty Sound, this lineage is what interests us. The MA-3000 shares the MA-2000’s chassis format, but its internal design draws on the MA-5000. Understanding this new amplifier therefore means looking beyond its 300B output tubes.
Two 300Bs per channel, 25 watts in parallel single-ended operation
Each monoblock uses two 300B triodes in a parallel single-ended, or PSE, configuration. Both tubes operate in parallel within a pure Class A output stage, without negative feedback.
Maximum rated output is 25 watts per channel. This allows Phasemation to retain a single-ended triode architecture while providing more power than a single 300B.
For Zen Saito, the designer behind Phasemation’s amplifiers, vacuum tubes remain relevant today. His work focuses on conveying the energy and individuality of a performance, with particular attention to the speed of signal transmission.
What happens before the 300Bs
The driver stage is one of the MA-3000’s most interesting features. A triode-connected PSVANE EL34 drives the output tubes through an interstage transformer developed by Phasemation.
This stage itself provides power amplification, following the approach established in the MA-5000. The aim is to lower the impedance driving the 300Bs and preserve signal linearity.
A new toroidal power transformer was developed to meet the requirements of this architecture. The output transformers are supplied by Lundahl, whose products Phasemation has used since 2013.
Transformers: electrical function and mechanical behaviour
The work on the transformers extends to their mounting. The MA-3000 adopts the vibration-isolation structure developed for the MA-5000: a floating mount using a specially selected damping material to limit vibration transmission to the circuits, chassis and tubes.
TAOC high-carbon cast-iron feet complement this approach. Shielding around the transformers and choke coils also helps reduce the influence of stray magnetic fields on sensitive circuits.
A tube cover that forms part of the design
The tube cover deserves a specific mention: Phasemation designed and tuned the MA-3000 to operate with it in place. A silicon-steel plate incorporated into the rear of the cover contributes to magnetic shielding.
The ventilation openings feature traditional Japanese patterns. A glass front reveals the tubes, while the thick, slanted front panel retains Phasemation’s distinctive appearance.
Practical adjustments
Each monoblock provides an RCA input and an XLR input. A rear-panel switch offers three settings: 0 dB, −6 dB and MUTE. The −6 dB attenuation provides a more usable volume-control range when paired with a high-gain preamplifier.
Separate 4 Ω and 8 Ω speaker connections are provided. The rhodium-plated copper Furutech binding posts incorporate a torque limiter to prevent overtightening.

FAQs
Please read our FAQ before sending us a message.
How is my order processed ?
Once we have received your order and your payment, we issue you an invoice that will be mailed to you with a reference number for your order. Once your order is ready : it will be dispatched to you with insurance and tracking number.
Which payment methos are available in the Online Shop ?
You can choose between Paypal, bank transfer or Credit Card. Please take in consideration that payment via bank transfer will slightly delay the processing of your order as we have to receive your funds on our bank account to confirm your order.
Why are there different estimated delays prior to sending for some of the products
One of the politics of Ana Mighty Sound is that every order is unique and made for a single customer. You will find next to each item an estimated delay prior to delivery. We will do our best to fulfill it before this delay (and most of the time we do).
Please keep in mind that we are a 100% human company working all over the Old World (Europe) and that we do commit to deliver you the best made / best quality product available, and to insure that : this can take some time.
Of course… some of our products are in stock !
Can I specify a courrier for my order ?
Yes you can ! Just drop us a line in the « additional remarks » of your mail order. This may add additional fees to your order. We can work with DHL, TNT, FedEX, UPS, French La Poste or Chronopost.
What if I have received the wrong item ?
In the very unlikely case this would happen just send us a photo of what you received and we will send you a courrier to fetch the item back. Once we have checked it out, we will send you the correct item.
My items are not up to specifications, what should I do ?
This is highly improbable as we use the most modern techniques to insure that our products are up to specs. In fact we even have a dedicated person checking that every single item is in perfect condition prior to shipping. Of course it can happen, but we doubt it seriously. In any case if you were bothered by something : just send us an email and we will sort it out with you.
I am very happy/disappointed with my order and I want you to know it ?
Please do not hesitate to drop us a line and we will be always happy to answer all of your requests. Our aim is your complete satisfaction.
